I went to Korea over the New Year holidays. We left on December 29, 2006. It was winter. It was very cold. I wore 2 layers of shirts & pants. I also wore a nice thick quilted jacket. My mittens couldn't keep my fingers from freezing.
We went to Lotte World （乐天世界）。 We watched a parade and a laser show. We also went on a few rides. There was a mini 'Giant Drop" that I liked.
On the third day, we went up to the mountains. The place was covered in snow, just like pictures in Christmas Cards! We stayed at a ski resort. At the ski resort i played with the snow. I rolled in the snow and tried to make snowballs. It was difficult because the snow was too powdery. We also went snow tubing. That was very exciting. I enjoyed that most of all!
We came back to Singapore just the night before the first day of school.

Too bad we couldn't go for a few more rounds of snowtubing. ;( Loved eating ice cream in Korea though. The ice cream doesn't melt in winter!!!
